Role Overview

The Senior Research Associate will focus on fundamental analysis and insights generation related to assigned sectors, supporting institutional clients with detailed financial models and strategic investment reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive fundamental research on specific sectors, analyzing financial statements, industry factors, and competitive positioning.
• Utilize extensive secondary sources, including subscription databases, web resources, social media, and primary research, to develop well-founded, analytically supported viewpoints.
• Construct and maintain detailed financial models to project corporate performance and estimate valuation targets for institutional clientele.
• Produce clear, compelling investment recommendation reports built upon rigorous investigation and insightful storytelling.
• Track industry and regulatory changes closely, evaluating their influence on companies under coverage and providing forward-looking analysis for clients.

Client Engagement

• Act as a reliable expert in market intelligence and sector research for multinational corporations, global enterprises, and institutional investors.
• Gain a solid understanding of clients’ business priorities and investment goals to tailor insights accordingly.
• Interact directly with corporate management to collect information that enhances client understanding of business dynamics.
• Collaborate with sales and trading teams to distribute research findings and provide up-to-date market commentary.
• Participate in meetings and conferences with clients, presenting analytical findings and recommendations to influence investment decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous roles in top brokerage firms, investment banks, or established equity research organizations are highly valued.
• Strong proven track record executing deep fundamental research and financial analyses on companies.
• Proficient in building and updating complex financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, capable of clearly articulating investment insights and recommendations.
• Robust interpersonal capabilities to develop relationships with company leaders, institutional clients, and internal departments.
• Solid knowledge of Indian equity markets and related regulations.
• Academic background in Finance, Economics, or similar fields; possession of an MBA or CFA credential is advantageous.
