Senior Relationship Manager

Job Overview

This position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and requires a proactive individual to function as a Senior Relationship Manager within a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). The role operates primarily in channel sales environments including Direct Sales, Agencies, or Intermediary partners like Direct Selling Agents (DSAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, open market canvassing, cold calling, and local marketing campaigns.
• Source and promote retail or corporate lending products such as personal loans, business loans, home loans, or loans against property.
• Develop and sustain valuable partnerships with channel partners including DSAs, local intermediaries, builders, and financial advisors.
• Maintain constant communication with channel partners to ensure a consistent flow of transactions and referral business.
• Oversee the entire loan processing cycle from initial application, documentation collection, credit underwriting coordination, to final loan disbursal.
• Guide clients by explaining product features, eligibility criteria, and repayment plans.
• Ensure portfolio quality by conducting primary Know Your Customer (KYC) and preliminary financial and credit assessments such as CIBIL verification.
• Support the collections team in addressing early signs of payment defaults or risks of delinquency.
• Keep detailed daily sales records, lead tracking, and Market Information System documentation up to date.
• Consistently meet monthly and quarterly targets with respect to loan sourcing and disbursal volumes.

Compensation

The salary range offered is between 24,500 INR to 34,500 INR per month.
