About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Surveyor to contribute significantly to the growth and success of a well-established surveying and engineering division. The business boasts a team of more than 90 professionals located throughout North Sydney, Parramatta, Brisbane, and Melbourne, known for delivering top-tier engineering solutions and fostering enduring client relationships.
This senior role offers the chance to exercise full ownership of complex projects, nurture client partnerships, lead and develop the surveying team, and enhance the surveying function overall.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cadastral and subdivision surveying initiatives across New South Wales.
- Supervise fieldwork, documentation processes, and the delivery of survey outputs.
- Inspect and certify plans ensuring compliance with BOSSI standards.
- Offer advanced technical guidance to clients and project teams.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee timely delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, developers, councils, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the surveying team.
- Support business growth through involvement in proposals and fee structuring.
- Drive continual improvement of surveying practices through technology and process innovation.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 10 to 15 years of industry experience specializing in cadastral and geospatial surveying.
- Hold current BOSSI registration for New South Wales.
- Acquire a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of NSW cadastral surveying laws and regulations.
- Exhibit proven leadership and competency in project management.
- Strong proficiency in 12D software and AutoCAD.
- Experienced with GPS systems, total stations, and scanning technology.
- Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Enthusiastic about geospatial innovations and AI-enabled technologies.

Remuneration
