About the Role
Uber Delivery includes Uber Eats, Grocery & Retail, and Uber Direct. The Senior Recruiter will focus on attracting commercial talent and leadership across key EMEA regions, with emphasis on fast-growing markets like Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner by using market data to support hiring managers, offering insights from competitor analysis and candidate profiles to facilitate hiring decisions.
- Engage in proactive sourcing by utilizing advanced technologies including generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean) and vibe coding to identify talent pools, automate administrative tasks, and craft initial candidate outreach.
- Manage approximately 15 active commercial job openings across diverse roles and countries, ensuring prioritization and streamlined recruitment workflows.
- Promote evidence-driven candidate evaluation by advising hiring teams to focus on objective hiring criteria, challenge weak signals, and uphold high hiring standards.
- Collect and analyze post-hire feedback within 90 days to continuously enhance candidate profiles, reduce time-to-fill, and improve recruitment metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least six years of comprehensive recruitment experience managing full hiring cycles for commercial roles in dynamic environments.
- Strong consultative skills to effectively influence hiring managers and foster productive relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with agility in learning and adapting to evolving recruitment challenges.
- Exceptional organizational discipline enabling simultaneous management of multiple searches without compromising quality or candidate experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience mentoring recruiters or training hiring managers.
- Background in recruiting within scalable, high-growth technology or commercial sectors.
- Early adaptation of generative AI tools to optimize recruitment processes.
