Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive site supervision experience to join our Abu Dhabi team. In this key position, you will manage cost control, contract administration, and supervise site activities for major construction projects. Your responsibilities include maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring adherence to regulations, facilitating smooth project execution, and leading a team of quantity surveyors. Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and leadership qualities are essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects meet schedules, quality criteria, and safety standards
• Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts specific to assigned projects
• Administer contracts through review, negotiation, and enforcement of contract clauses
• Evaluate and document change orders, variations, and claims systematically
• Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery and cost-efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections of the site and prepare in-depth progress reports for stakeholders
• Analyze project data to offer recommendations for controlling costs and enhancing efficiency
• Lead and guide junior quantity surveying personnel to promote their professional growth and maintain high standards
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, invoices, and correspondence
• Identify potential project risks and execute mitigation measures to safeguard interests
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and company policies throughout project duration

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, emphasizing cost estimation and budget oversight
• Minimum 8 years’ direct site supervision involvement on construction projects
• Advanced skills in cost estimation software, project management tools like Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of contract administration, construction law, and standard contract forms
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, prepare forecasts, and manage budgets efficiently
• Experience managing large-scale or complex construction projects is highly desirable
