Headquartered in Copenhagen and operating internationally including London, it embraces diversity and inclusion as core values.

Role Overview

As a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher, you will lead the quantitative research efforts to measure and understand how users and businesses perceive and experience trust on the Trustpilot platform. You will own the quantitative research strategy for your product domains, uphold high standards of statistical rigor, and collaborate closely with Data Science teams to foster a unified measurement culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct large-scale surveys using validated scales including NPS and trust-perception metrics, alongside log-data and behavioral analytics such as funnels, A/B testing, cohort and retention analysis.
  • Create measurement frameworks that define success criteria across user journeys including review consumption, purchase decisions, and business subscriptions, and track these metrics over time.
  • Lead sophisticated quantitative research methods including survey design, behavioral analytics, experimentation, and predictive modeling, ensuring statistical rigor from instrument design to automated analysis utilizing Python, R, and SQL.
  • Apply and evaluate AI-assisted techniques, including large language models for open-text analysis, while critically assessing validity and bias.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to align on data pipelines and definitions, setting standards for study design and analytic quality.
  • Communicate complex statistical findings in clear narratives that inform decisions by product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Mentor and coach fellow researchers in quantitative methods to elevate the overall statistical expertise within the team.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience specializing in UX research with a focus on quantitative and complex projects.
  • Strong foundation in survey methodology including instrument design, sampling, and psychometric validation, combined with advanced statistical skills such as regression, factor and cluster analysis, and significance testing.
  • Proficient in Python, R, or SQL for handling large behavioral datasets (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, BigQuery).
  • Proven history of impactful quantitative research that has shaped product or business strategies, incorporation of A/B testing techniques.
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools in research processes, specifically leveraging LLM-assisted analysis or AI-powered qualitative coding, with a critical approach towards validity and bias.
  • AI-curious mindset with the ability to critically assess AI capabilities and limitations and collaborate effectively across qualitative research, data science, and product analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse teams and presenting data-driven stories in an accessible manner.
