Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Senior Python Developer who not only wants to develop software but also advise clients technically, make architectural decisions, and shape innovative software solutions. In collaboration with our client, you will create advanced solutions for embedded systems within a highly specialized production environment. As a senior developer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical direction of the team, providing mentorship and shaping sustainable software architectures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and enhancement of a modern acceptance test tool for embedded systems operating in production settings.
• Development of integration and testing solutions for the development domain.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure superior software quality.
• Design synchronous and asynchronous test workflows.
• Optimize the test platform’s performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Serve as a technical sparring partner for the development team and actively contribute to the technical roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in hybrid Python/C environments.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment processes.
• Proven skills in architecting complex software systems.
• Familiarity with Software Craftsmanship principles and Domain-Driven Design.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of production environments or industrial manufacturing processes.
• Experience with signal and spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or telecommunications technologies.
• Familiarity with domain-specific testing languages.
• Good judgment in selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and libraries.
• Experience using Robot Framework and Pytest for testing.
