Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to successfully lead the delivery of infrastructure projects with an emphasis on minimizing operational disruption and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of diverse projects ensuring achievement of defined success criteria.
• Define project scope and contribute to business case development and securing funding.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to gather inputs, obtain necessary approvals, and address constraints.
• Manage procurement by preparing tenders, analyzing bids, and awarding contracts to consultants and contractors.
• Administer contracts ensuring compliance, processing payments, and managing contract variations.
• Supervise construction activities with consultants and safety advisors to guarantee safe and compliant execution.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to reduce issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality across design and construction stages.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in design and delivery of construction projects, notably in the water sector.
• Technical knowledge of wastewater treatment plants and related systems.
• Expertise in contractor and contract management, particularly with NEC contracts.
• Capability to concurrently manage multiple projects throughout all life cycle phases.
• Strong communication skills facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and consultation.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
