Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client, a prominent main contractor in Ireland, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead major residential constructions primarily within the Greater Dublin area. This position offers the chance to lead high-profile projects valued from €75 million to €250 million, ensuring superior quality and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of project execution from initial planning to final handover.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, including engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality assurance to guarantee project success.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and senior management stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance indicators.
• Address and resolve challenges that may affect project timelines or outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ project management experience within a main contracting construction environment.
• Demonstrable success managing large-scale construction projects exceeding €70 million.
• Experience with residential developments, particularly housing or high-density projects, preferred.
• Deep commercial insight and strong understanding of contract management.
• Exceptional leadership abilities combined with superior organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in handling multiple stakeholders and delivering projects under pressure within agreed parameters.
• Possession of a relevant Construction or Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information

Annual base salary ranges from €130,000 to €155,000 depending on experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
