Senior Project Manager APAC - Aptitude Software

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee delivery outcomes of complex enterprise software projects within the APAC region. This senior role involves direct client engagement and full accountability for project planning, execution, governance, budget oversight, forecasting accuracy, and managing change from project initiation through to go-live and operational transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main delivery contact for one large or several related client engagements, collaborating closely with Account Management to support the broader client relationship.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including key milestones, dependencies, and critical paths, ensuring workstream leads adhere to timelines.
• Lead steering committee meetings and maintain operational cadence through status meetings, RAID logs, and action tracking to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Take full ownership for delivering quality outcomes, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining commercial discipline, tracking budgets and margins, and managing change control.
• Proactively manage scope changes by identifying impacts, preparing change requests showing effects on cost and schedule, and facilitating approvals with leadership and clients.
• Monitor, track, and resolve project risks and issues, escalating when needed, while highlighting expansion or renewal opportunities to sales teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including subject matter experts, consultants, engineers, and client personnel, while forecasting resource needs and balancing capacity and margins.
• Champion Aptitude's delivery methodology and governance standards, supporting high-quality documentation and sharing lessons learned regionally.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience managing full lifecycle delivery of enterprise software projects in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally involving financial systems or subscription platforms.
• Proven ability leading complex engagements with senior client stakeholders, including executives, capable of chairing high-level steering committees and making sound escalation decisions.
• Robust commercial understanding covering budgeting, margin management, forecasting, and implementing scope and change controls.
• Strong command of project management techniques including scheduling, RAID log management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and change control, applied pragmatically.
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is valuable, though practical experience leading enterprise projects is primary.
• Clear, confident communication skills that foster alignment across clients, partners, and internal teams and maintain momentum through complex challenges.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting with some regional travel and onsite client presence as needed.
