Role Overview

In this senior role, you will oversee large-scale, complex technical infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. Your responsibility will include shaping project delivery strategies, organizing resources, ensuring adherence to project quality, scope, budget, and timelines. Collaboration with senior stakeholders, technical experts, project teams, and external vendors is essential, with a focus on disciplined processes, governance, and a seamless handover to ongoing operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of extensive data center and infrastructure projects.
• Design effective delivery methodologies, establish project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and governance for successful execution.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, risks, issues, dependencies, and change across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Develop and guide cohesive project teams working within complex, multi-platform technical environments.
• Coordinate activities related to design, documentation, development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Provide clear status reporting and cultivate strong relationships with customers, senior leadership, and delivery partners.
• Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, and benefits realization.
• Handle vendor agreements and maintain productive relationships with third-party service providers to support project delivery.
• Plan and manage the transition of completed projects to operational support teams for ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience managing large or multifaceted technical infrastructure projects successfully.
• Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure technologies and the interdependencies among systems.
• Strong project management expertise encompassing scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, risk, procurement, and integration management.
• Established ability to manage customers and senior stakeholders effectively, including coordination with external vendors.
• Financial acumen related to cost estimation, forecasting, budget tracking, and performance reporting.
• Proven leadership skills with capabilities in negotiation, influencing, problem-solving, and resolving disputes.
• A relevant bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Science, Engineering, Economics, or similar fields.
• Holding certifications like Project Management, PRINCE2, PMI, or Agile is an advantage.
