Senior Product Manager - Risk

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager focusing on risk, you will lead the enhancement and optimization of risk monitoring tools related to securities and derivatives. Your role involves designing effective risk detection methods and key mitigation instruments such as forced liquidation, order cancellation, and margin call adjustments.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvements in risk monitoring systems to better identify and mitigate risks.
• Enhance workflows and user experience to improve operational efficiency without compromising robust risk controls during critical incidents.
• Take end-to-end ownership of risk-related initiatives, collaborating extensively with engineering, operations, and business units to execute the product roadmap successfully.

Requirements

• In-depth expertise in identifying and managing risks within brokerage or securities domains, with strong knowledge of credit and market risks.
• Preferably, prior experience in brokerage risk operations or designing risk system architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven experience overseeing product life cycles and ensuring quality product delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating fast learning and a high level of accountability.
• Adaptable and resilient in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, with excellent English literacy and spoken skills; ability to effectively operate using both languages is desired.
