Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will be instrumental in forming and steering UpGuard’s product strategy. This role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to create impactful features that address genuine customer challenges and yield measurable benefits. The position suits candidates passionate about customer-centric products, blending strategic vision, technical knowledge, and design insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and own the strategic vision and development roadmap for crucial segments of the UpGuard platform, overseeing projects from discovery through launch while ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and other teams to conceive, build, and deploy products that delight users and align with company goals.
• Convert customer challenges and opportunities into explicit, actionable product specifications.
• Work with Design to develop intuitive, consistent user experiences across the platform.
• Balance the interplay between customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility to prioritize impactful initiatives.
• Drive a customer-first culture by deeply understanding user pain points and advocating for effective solutions.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, and development progress clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Use performance data to assess success and help pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
• Promote a culture valuing continuous learning, experimentation, and iteration.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager, preferably in SaaS or technology-intensive environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful track record of defining and managing complex product initiatives.
• Experience working closely with UX or design professionals.
• Solid understanding of data-driven decision-making involving metrics and analytics.
• At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Prior involvement or certifications in security or compliance sectors.
• Exposure to security, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) teams, risk assessments, compliance, and audit workflows.
• Background or enthusiasm for design thinking and enhancing user experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and solutions.
• Experience working with integrations, APIs, or data-centric product development.
• Proven ability to identify and leverage commercial opportunities within product strategies.
