The Senior Product Manager for Cloud Platform Services will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for shared platform capabilities that support multiple Esko SaaS products. This role entails collaborating closely with architects, engineering leads, and product managers to prioritize platform needs, establish roadmaps, and foster adoption. The candidate must be technically fluent regarding APIs, distributed systems, data architecture, cloud-native services, scalability, and reliability to influence architecture and trade-offs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the product strategy and roadmap for the Cloud Platform Services, including shared core capabilities such as data repositories, workflow, search functionality, APIs, and foundational platform modules.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify cross-product needs and opportunities to build reusable platform features.
• Work alongside Architects and Engineering leadership to align platform architecture and technical direction with product objectives, ensuring well-informed trade-offs.
• Enhance the developer experience by improving discoverability, integration ease, and adoption of platform services.
• Lead cross-team planning and coordinate dependencies across platform services, identity and access management, infrastructure engineering, and product teams that consume these services.
• Balance competing priorities among product demands, technical investments, debt reduction, system reliability, scaling, and architectural growth.
• Define metrics for success and leverage adoption, usage data, developer feedback, reliability, and business results to guide investments and decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in the software sector, with over 5 years specifically in product management focused on cloud-based, SaaS, API-driven, developer-centric, or technically sophisticated products.
• Experience managing strategy and roadmaps for platform products or shared services used by multiple products or teams.
• Solid technical knowledge of APIs, microservices, distributed system architecture, data stores, multi-tenancy, and cloud-native platforms.
• Proven ability to engage effectively in architectural and technical discussions with senior engineers and architects, balancing trade-offs with product outcomes in mind.
• Hands-on experience with API and developer-focused products, including API contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, integration strategies, and optimizing developer experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize product features with consideration for investments, reliability, scalability, and developer usability.
• Proficient in defining and utilizing metrics for adoption, usage, and business impact to inform product direction.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with experience aligning multiple disciplines such as Product, Architecture, and Engineering.

Preferred Attributes

• Background in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical product management.
• Familiarity with developer platforms, API platforms, or shared cloud services.
• Experience managing platform capabilities related to workflows, search, repositories/data services, APIs, or integration platforms.
• Work experience in a multi-product SaaS setup where shared platform capabilities support diverse product lines.
