Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will operate within the Commerce Platform sector of PlayStation, focusing on initiatives that drive revenue growth by enhancing the PlayStation Plus membership program and player-focused commerce offerings. This role involves evolving the PlayStation Plus value proposition to attract new audiences, increase engagement, and expand overall reach by shaping how players discover, understand, and purchase products to continuously derive value. The position demands strong product leadership, a data-driven mindset, and effective collaboration with various cross-functional teams to implement impactful global scale experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute product strategies to acquire and engage members, prioritizing smooth experiences from first contact through ongoing engagement targeting diverse audiences and fueling monetization growth.
• Lead innovative feature design, experimentation, development, and deployment in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct rigorous data analysis to inform decision-making alongside analytics colleagues.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Commercial teams to align on objectives, target metrics, and critical use cases.
• Create actionable product requirements, experiment plans, and detailed briefs based on business needs.
• Manage cross-functional planning processes and contribute to wider strategy around personalization and customer lifecycle.
• Advocate for a test-and-learn philosophy by rapidly experimenting, assessing results, and iterating improvements.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends in gaming, monetization, personalization, and customer lifecycle management.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in product management, preferably within consumer-centric digital environments.
• Proven leadership managing complex, cross-functional projects where partnerships played a significant role.
• Preferred experience working with subscription or membership platforms in gaming, media, entertainment, or consumer applications.
• Demonstrated success driving improvements in conversion funnels, retention strategies, and monetization.
• Experience collaborating with Data and Engineering teams to develop scalable, reusable capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to distill context, present trade-offs clearly, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Strong product intuition combined with comfort engaging in technical discussions and utilizing experimentation methodologies.
• Background in gaming, streaming, e-commerce, or other large-scale B2C platforms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role is estimated between €87,300 and €130,900 EUR, influenced by factors including location, experience, and skills.
