Job description
Position Overview
Join vCluster Labs as a Senior Product Manager, collaborating closely with the Head of Product and engineering leaders to direct the future development of our products during a critical growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and align technical and business priorities for your product area, converting them into clear engineering specifications.
- Partner with founders and engineering leadership to evaluate architectural decisions shaping product direction.
- Conduct direct testing of alpha and beta releases to identify integration issues prior to customer exposure.
- Engage with platform engineers, AI Cloud operators, regulated enterprises, and internal platform teams to gather insights driving new zero-to-one innovations.
- Monitor the evolving cloud-native ecosystem and tenancy solutions to refine positioning and marketing narratives targeted at technical buyers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration among engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment between product delivery and go-to-market strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience focused on cloud infrastructure, platform services, or distributed systems with a proven track record of shipping production software used by engineers.
- Proficient with Kubernetes concepts including clusters, workloads, and namespaces.
- Experience engaging directly with platform engineers and architects.
Additional Preferred Experience
- Developed Kubernetes-as-a-Service offerings at cloud providers, vendors, or large internal platform organizations.
- Familiarity with AI and MLOps infrastructure, such as GPU scheduling and multi-tenant accelerators.
- Background in building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that simplify infrastructure for developer teams.
- Comfort in fast-paced, evolving startup environments.
