Senior Product Development Merchandiser

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Development Merchandiser to join a garment export house based in Gurgaon, Haryana. This role involves developing samples based on tech packs, sketches, and original samples while independently managing assigned buyers and liaising with overseas design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary communication link with buyers regarding sampling progress.
• Coordinate internally across departments to ensure seamless development workflows including sample creation, print, and embroidery projects.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of fabrics, printing methods, and embroidery materials relevant to garment production.

Candidate Profile

• Resident of Gurgaon or willing to relocate.
• Graduate or equivalent educational qualification.
• Preferred age range: 34 to 40 years.
• Married candidates are favored.
• 10-12 years of experience in product development within the garment industry.
• Proficient in written communications and basic computer skills including Excel.
• Holding a valid driver’s license and owning personal transportation is advantageous.
• Will report directly to the company director.
