Senior Product Designer

About the Role

Squiz delivers an enterprise Digital Experience Platform (DXP) enabling global organizations to orchestrate and enhance customer interactions. As the company embarks on a rapid growth phase, it is launching an innovative suite of content intelligence, optimization, and AI assistant tools aimed at transforming how digital teams develop, assess, and scale their content.

This role requires a highly proactive Senior Product Designer to work closely with Engineering and Product Leadership. Beyond feature execution, you will shape, visualize, and validate strategic roadmap initiatives. Positioned at the intersection of AI innovation, swift concept iteration, and refined visual design, you will establish core UX foundations for the platform’s future.

Flexible work arrangements are available within Australia, allowing you to work onsite, remotely, or in hybrid mode according to your preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate strategic concepts into clear, short- and long-term product visions, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering leaders and validating designs before development.
• Facilitate collaborative prototype sessions to align stakeholders, explore ideas, and make real-time design adjustments focused on user-centered experiences.
• Design AI-driven features including non-deterministic workflows, intelligent assistants, and data-driven analytics, utilizing AI tools daily to enhance rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Develop and expand the design system to handle complex workflows, ensuring a cohesive visual language and updating components as the platform evolves.
• Seamlessly bridge exploration and production by delivering precise, detailed design assets and guidelines to engineering teams for implementation.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in product design within B2B SaaS or enterprise environments, with a demonstrated ability to create and manage scalable design systems.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with an eye for layout harmony, strong product sensibility, and the ability to decide when to create new design elements versus reusing existing ones.
• Excellent facilitation and strategic thinking capabilities, comfortable navigating ambiguity to lead design initiatives and create shared understanding across teams.
• Technical awareness gained through close collaboration with engineering leads to grasp data complexities and technical trade-offs, crafting feasible yet high-quality solutions.
• Keen interest and hands-on experience with AI and ML features, combined with a willingness to experiment and integrate AI tools to accelerate design workflows.
