Senior Product Designer

About the Role

Join Coinglass as a Senior Product Designer, where you will take full ownership of designing comprehensive product experiences and interfaces for core company offerings. This position also involves creating compelling graphic and visual designs supporting brand identity, marketing, and product materials. You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to transform complex cryptocurrency derivatives, market statistics, and blockchain data into user-friendly, credible, and visually appealing products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of product design for core Coinglass products, including conducting user research, structuring information architecture, designing interactions, prototyping, producing user interfaces, and validating usability.
• Convert intricate data on derivatives, funding rates, open interest, liquidations, contract metrics, and on-chain/market trends into clear, user-centric interface designs.
• Contribute to visual identity and marketing by designing in-product illustrations, website content, social media graphics, presentations, event collateral, and brand communications.
• Advocate for users by utilizing user feedback, behavioral analytics, and usability tests to improve the product experience continuously.
• Work closely with product development, engineering, data analytics, marketing, and growth teams to ensure design solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain and enhance the Coinglass design system by standardizing UI components, visual style guides, iconography, and design protocols.
• Engage in design critiques, participate in hiring assessments, and assist in onboarding to elevate the team's overall design quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related disciplines.
• Over five years of experience in product or UX design, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing comprehensive product design projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in graphic and visual design, including brand visuals, marketing campaigns, illustration, and promotional materials.
• Skilled in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, information architecture, usability, responsive layouts, and design system methodologies.
• Aptitude for simplifying complex data products and financial or crypto concepts into straightforward user flows and interfaces.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Experience working with distributed, cross-regional product and engineering teams in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in cryptocurrency, derivatives, exchanges, data platforms, or fintech environments.
• Experience designing dashboards, data visualizations, live charts, or interfaces related to trading.
• Involvement in creating or contributing to design systems.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design approaches.
• Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
• Previous work with fast-growing startups or international product teams is considered a plus.
