Senior Product Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, reporting directly to a Product Manager. This role centers on transforming customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements and ensuring smooth and efficient product delivery within the air cargo domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, clarify, and translate customer demands into concrete product requirements to eliminate ambiguity and facilitate better delivery readiness.
• Manage and maintain the Scrum team backlog, guaranteeing that priorities, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clear and updated before sprint planning.
• Specify functional and integration requirements that support desired customer results, operational efficiency, and product roadmap goals.
• Evaluate requirements and suggest scalable solutions balancing business benefits, technical practicality, and maintainability over time.
• Oversee assigned business modules and align internal stakeholders on comprehensive documented solutions promoting uniform implementations and reusability.
• Lead the entire delivery process from project initiation through go-live, coordinating efforts among analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure punctual and high-quality releases.
• Coach business analysts and development teams to enhance Agile methodologies, elevate requirement quality, and ensure solution uniformity.
• Create and upkeep functional specifications, solution documentation, and support materials that aid stakeholder approvals and development efficiency.
• Design test scenarios, verify delivered functionality, and approve business acceptance to enhance release quality and minimize defects.
• Develop workflows, interface designs, and mock-ups to speed up solution validation and boost user comprehension.
• Analyze operational incidents and defects to identify root causes and assist corrective actions for improved system stability.
• Build and maintain test libraries that strengthen both manual and automated regression testing coverage.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise

• Extensive experience in Air Cargo management systems with expert understanding of Air Cargo workflows including sales and operations.
• Familiarity with industry standard inter-system message formats, rules, and their applications.
• Strong command of written and spoken English communication.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases along with reporting software.
• Proficiency with common PC software and knowledge of external interfacing systems.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting under pressure as an integral part of a small team.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, including integration testing using tools like Swagger and Postman.
• Competency in creating API documentation using YAML specifications.
• Analytical mindset capable of innovative, research-backed problem solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with graphic designers, web architects, and clients.
• Experience with prototyping using wireframing tools such as Invision, Marvel, Proto.io, Framer, or Axure.
• Familiarity with Agile software development, Scrum processes, and user story creation.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in functional analysis and system support.
• Between 5 and 7 years of professional experience within the Air Cargo domain.
