Role Overview

Join the HelloFresh Studio as a Postproduction Manager where you'll be immersed daily in enhancing our food and lifestyle visuals. Your proficiency in image retouching, mainly using Photoshop, is vital to delivering visually appealing, consistent, and naturally polished imagery for our stakeholders. You will balance meticulous attention to detail with receptiveness to constructive feedback, adeptly prioritize tasks, and exhibit strong time management. The role requires effective communication with multiple stakeholders and careful management of photography assets with an organized approach.

Beyond following established procedures, you will confidently integrate generative AI and hybrid methods to elevate content quality, streamline workflows, and innovate the creation of visual material.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed editing and retouching of food, product, and lifestyle photographs.
• Efficiently handle retouching requests in a global, multi-stakeholder setting.
• Work alongside internal teams, maintaining transparent and professional communication worldwide while managing feedback.
• Maintain organized workflows and adhere to file management best practices.
• Ensure all outputs align with brand guidelines, acting as a brand ambassador through consistent visuals.
• Lead retouching projects with clear, professional communication to stakeholders.
• Apply generative AI tools autonomously within post-production tasks.
• Assess and refine AI-generated or enhanced images to meet high standards of quality and brand consistency.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of professional commercial retouching experience.
• Passionate about food photography and imagery.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop with awareness of current industry and technological trends. Experience with Capture One and/or Lightroom is advantageous.
• Practical experience working with generative AI image tools and workflows, including prompting and iterative refinement.
• Keen visual judgment to harmonize both traditional and AI-enhanced images to premium commercial quality.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in creative and productive environments.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to consistent output quality.
• Highly organized and thorough in administrative responsibilities with a systematic work approach.
• A pragmatic mindset aimed at continually improving and optimizing repetitive tasks.
