Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of services including infrastructure, data layers, API, and frontend development; collaborate closely with engineers who work across similar layers.
• Make significant architectural decisions for a platform relied upon by thousands of clinicians worldwide.
• Integrate identity, security, and reliability tasks as an inherent part of your role rather than as a separate function.
• Develop and maintain tools, pipelines, and agentic workflows that accelerate the productivity of all engineering teams.

Desired Profile

• Passionate creators and builders who tinker and innovate continuously, with history of open-source contributions or side projects.
• Engineers who have actively transformed their development practices with AI—beyond basic code generation—to automate workflows, create agents, and enhance team effectiveness.
• Extensive experience in delivering production-grade software by owning entire services rather than small task segments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, AWS cloud, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Strong fundamentals in CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, observability, and designing scalable systems.
• Confidently challenge and contribute to important technical decisions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and AI agents.
• Additional desirable skills include React, Ruby on Rails, identity and federated SSO (such as Cognito, OIDC/SAML), application security, or expertise in healthcare/regulated industries.
