Role Overview

Amid significant growth and new projects, Lycopodium seeks an experienced Senior Planner for its Perth office project services team. This pivotal role involves developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to meet client, company, and project standards effectively and timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain consistently high-quality schedules and plans to ensure overall project success.
• React promptly to any changes, ensuring timely project completion aligned with contractual scopes.
• Assist project teams by preparing and updating project schedules, supporting activity management with up-to-date information conforming to company, client, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and uphold project planning procedures, work practices, and systems to foster efficient operations without compromising quality.
• Analyze scope alterations and scheduling trends, proposing corrective actions or alternative methods to enhance schedules and minimize delays.
• Verify that planned implementation strategies and controls are practical and adhered to throughout project execution.
• Communicate immediately with clients and Project Managers regarding any factors impacting project objectives.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 10 years' senior planning experience in relevant industries.
• Preferable background in EPC and EPCM environments with engagement across all project stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency and knowledge in using Primavera scheduling software.
• Capability to interpret standard design deliverables effectively.
• Skilled in creating precise and detailed schedules and reports.
• Competent in establishing schedules and forecasts independently.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills facilitating teamwork and client interaction.
