Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full payroll cycle for global operations ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timeliness of each payroll run.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations of payroll data, validating all inputs and outputs, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring full accountability of all transactions.
• Implement and maintain rigorous financial controls and thorough documentation to support payroll processing, statutory reporting, and employee remuneration.
• Analyze payroll trends, exceptions, and movements to detect irregularities and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance department to prepare detailed payroll reports, conduct reconciliations, and support audit and month-end financial processes related to workforce costs.
• Address root causes of payroll errors by establishing improved processes or control measures to prevent recurrence.
• Enhance payroll efficiency by working with the People Systems team to automate manual tasks, strengthen system controls, and develop scalable payroll processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and discrepancy investigation.
• Thorough understanding of financial control systems, audit procedures, and data integrity principles.
• Experience utilizing payroll platforms, HR information systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and take full responsibility for resolving payroll matters.
• Exposure to payroll management across diverse markets is highly advantageous, although candidates from finance roles seeking to transition into payroll are also welcome.
