Senior Odoo Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join a leading Saudi Arabian company’s expanding technology team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient with Odoo ERP, possessing deep expertise in development, customization, integration, and automation of business processes, and able to fully own complex Odoo projects from requirement analysis through to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, customization, and ongoing support of Odoo ERP solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Create custom Odoo modules, workflows, reports, dashboards, and automate business functions.
• Maintain and upgrade core Odoo modules including CRM, Sales, Accounting, Purchase, Fleet, Repair, and others.
• Analyze detailed business requirements and transform them into efficient and scalable Odoo implementations.
• Provide expert technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance support.
• Oversee Odoo deployments including customization, integration, testing, data migration, and version upgrades.
• Review existing ERP solutions and processes to identify optimization opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, functional teams, and developers to deliver ERP solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Ensure the quality, security, maintainability, and scalability of all custom-built components.
• Document technical specifications, integration points, workflows, and business processes for developed solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to team members.
• Conduct user training sessions to facilitate successful adoption of Odoo across various departments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of solid Odoo development experience.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with the Odoo Framework, including custom module development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, XML, PostgreSQL databases, and adherence to Odoo coding standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP business processes and Odoo architecture and capabilities.
• Experience integrating Odoo with other systems, utilizing APIs, implementing automation, custom reporting, and workflow enhancements.
• Track record of working on Odoo implementation and customization projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with autonomy to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Preferably experienced in managing enterprise-level or large-scale Odoo deployments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders.
