Job Summary

This full-time, onsite role based in Doha requires a Senior Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in overseeing and maintaining network infrastructure and security measures. The candidate should demonstrate proficient knowledge in technologies such as F5 BIG-IP modules (APM, GTM, LTM, AFM, AWF), Cisco security technologies, Check Point firewalls, and Infoblox appliances. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure components including routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers using Cisco, Check Point, and F5 technologies.
• Configure and resolve issues related to network security policies, access controls, and security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Deploy, operate, and maintain Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for managing authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement across network devices and endpoints.
• Administer DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management services through Infoblox appliances to ensure optimal network operations.
• Collaborate with IT operations, development teams, and business units to implement network and security requirements for upcoming projects.
• Document network and security configurations, diagrams, procedures, and policies comprehensively.
• Continuously update knowledge on industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to strengthen the organization's security and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Substantial hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP modules (APM, GTM, LTM, AFM, AWF).
• Over 8 years of professional experience in network engineering and security.
• Proficiency with Cisco firewalls, Check Point firewalls, and associated management servers.
• Strong expertise in Cisco ISE for network access control and policy-driven authentication.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies including IOS, NX-OS, and Catalyst switches.
• Familiarity with Infoblox systems managing DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and HTTP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities coupled with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork.
• Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams to restore services within SLA terms and conduct root cause analysis.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and contribute to technology implementation, documentation, and process optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
