Role Overview
We are looking for a committed Senior MRI Technician to join the Southeast Radiology team, primarily stationed in Moruya with responsibilities extending to Bateman’s Bay as necessary. This position offers an excellent opportunity for radiographers experienced in MRI or those eager to advance their MRI career within a community-focused regional clinic.
Key Duties
- Provide compassionate, professional, and confidential patient-centered care.
- Conduct high-standard MRI, CT, and general X-ray exams adhering strictly to clinical protocols and legal requirements.
- Maintain optimal image clarity and support precise diagnostic results.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and the wider clinical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
- Promote a culture emphasizing ongoing education, quality enhancement, and clinical excellence.
- Keep up-to-date with MRI safety guidelines, protocols, and new imaging technologies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven MRI and/or CT radiography experience.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology or Diagnostic Radiography.
- Valid AHPRA registration and New South Wales Radiation Use License.
- Patient-oriented mindset coupled with strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing constructively within a team setting.
- Possession of full legal working rights in Australia.
