Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior or Lead Mobile Engineer with extensive experience in native iOS development and a strong product mindset. The ideal candidate will enhance our existing ReactNative mobile application by delivering high-quality native performance and user experience. You will be a hands-on collaborator, refining our mobile architecture, driving performance improvements, and mentoring the existing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and build core features with deep native iOS integration.
• Collaborate with React front-end engineers to ensure smooth interoperability between native and ReactNative components.
• Work inclusively with Design and Product teams to balance trade-offs and rapidly deliver impactful features.
• Utilize AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and test coverage.
• Optimize app performance focusing on speed, battery efficiency, and resilience under real-world conditions.
• Develop robust offline-first capabilities and effective error handling workflows for field use cases.
• Enhance the mobile design system and user interface patterns continuously.
• Provide guidance through code reviews, pairing sessions, mentoring, and upskilling React engineers.

Candidate Profile

• Expertise in native iOS development with solid views on modern mobile architecture and systems design.
• Experience managing large-scale App Store releases, design systems, and mentoring mobile developer teams.
• Proficiency with React Native and an understanding of how it interfaces with iOS platforms.
• A relentless focus on optimizing performance and enhancing developer experience.
• A track record of shipping complex, high-performance native iOS applications in cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
• Deep knowledge of app performance metrics, accessibility standards, testing strategies, and maintainability considerations.
• While a degree is not mandatory, it is considered a valuable bonus.
