Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Summary

This role involves being part of the New Product Development team, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to design practical, reliable, and manufacturable electromechanical products tailored for dairy and industrial automation applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in designing and developing electromechanical products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and tolerance analysis.
• Experience advancing products from initial concept stages through to production.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various engineering disciplines.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Familiarity with dairy technology, agricultural machinery, industrial automation, or robotics.
• Knowledge of food-grade or hygienic design standards.
• Experience with product compliance and certification processes.
• Competence in finite element analysis (FEA) or engineering simulation software.
• Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
