Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing

Job Responsibilities

• Direct strategic sourcing and category management in technology and IT procurement areas.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to understand requirements, devise sourcing strategies, and champion procurement best practices.
• Oversee comprehensive sourcing processes including requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP), quotations (RFQ), supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Carry out supplier, market, and expenditure analyses to discover opportunities, lower risk, and enhance decision-making.
• Lead commercial negotiations and maintain supplier relationships to secure optimal financial, operational, and service results.
• Track supplier performance, enforce procurement policies, and continuously improve sourcing practices.
• Guide and develop the procurement team, mentoring on sourcing tactics, project management, and stakeholder engagement while promoting a performance-oriented culture.

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or background in Finance or Engineering is advantageous.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing within multinational companies.
• Extensive expertise in technology and IT sourcing categories, with familiarity with leading global tech suppliers.
• Proven skills in supplier negotiations, category and stakeholder management, and strategic sourcing execution.
• Strong analytical, commercial acumen, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Professional certifications like CIPS and experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement systems are a plus.
