Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Stakeholder/Governance & Committees Affairs (GCA) holds accountability for designing and managing governance workflows, supervising executive and strategic committees, and ensuring productive engagement and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for external stakeholders such as PIF, MCIT, and various governmental bodies.
  • Respond to ad-hoc and Royal Court requests by collecting, validating, and submitting information within prescribed timelines.
  • Manage official communications and letters directed to government and shareholder parties, supporting daily governance activities.
  • Coordinate effectively within HUMAIN, facilitating communication of requirements to relevant departments and consolidating inputs to deliver timely, accurate replies.
  • Monitor stakeholder requests, tracking actions, dependencies, deadlines, and ensuring completion.
  • Align internal stakeholders with external requirements to assure consistency prior to formal submissions or correspondence.
  • Oversee the governance and arrangement of CEO’s pivotal meetings: plan agendas, prepare materials, orchestrate stakeholder participation, track action items, and ensure follow-up.
  • Manage CEO-chaired committees and governance forums, maintaining appropriate governance protocols, documentation, and subsequent actions.
  • Organize CEO representation on Boards and Committees including the preparation of agendas, briefing documents, decision necessities, and monitoring follow-ups.
  • Support the CEO Office in maintaining insight into essential governance issues, decisions, commitments, and unresolved tasks.
  • Ensure documentation, communication, tracking, and completion of CEO-level decisions and action items.
  • Maintain strong governance mechanisms in CEO meetings, committees, and Board activities to promote timely escalation, clear accountability, and effective decision-making.

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Governance frameworks and corporate secretariat experience.
  • Executive-level stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in committee and board operations administration.
  • Strong strategic planning and coordination capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation proficiency.
  • Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience preparing executive reports and materials supporting decision-making.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Experience and Education

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, Governance, or related disciplines.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
  • Between 8 and 12 years of experience in governance, executive affairs, strategy, project management office (PMO), corporate affairs, or stakeholder management roles.
  • At least 3 to 5 years in leadership or management capacities.
  • Proven track record managing executive, steering, or board-level committees and governance processes.
  • Established success engaging and influencing senior executives and strategic stakeholders.
  • Background in drafting executive reports, governance documents, and decisions papers.
  • Understanding of corporate governance best practices and organizational decision-making methodologies.
  • Experience operating within large, complex entities and handling cross-functional partnerships.
