Focused on enhancing convenience in daily life, foodpanda delivers everything from food to groceries across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. We seek an experienced Finance BI professional to join our regional team based in Singapore, overseeing finance analytics across APAC and Europe markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture productive relationships with internal teams to grasp business challenges and potential opportunities.
• Provide recommendations utilizing a variety of data visualization tools and processes suited to complex data needs.
• Lead full-cycle data projects, including problem identification, data gathering, analysis, pattern interpretation, building financial models, and generating insightful automated reports.
• Evaluate daily operational workflows, pinpoint improvements, and suggest actionable measures grounded on data analytics.
• Conduct regional profit and loss performance reviews to identify primary revenue and cost variances across APAC and Europe.
• Analyze financial trends and deliver insightful commentary comparing actual outcomes against budgets and historical data.
• Drive ad-hoc strategic research projects, converting raw data into practical recommendations for regional leadership.
• Continuously develop automation and process streamlining efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline with relevant BI, Controlling, or FP&A experience.
• Understanding of financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, with working proficiency highly advantageous.
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CFA, or CIMA highly regarded.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance analytics; candidates with more experience may qualify as Senior Managers.
• Experienced in BI reporting tools like Tableau with expertise in crafting automated financial models, cash flow dashboards, and budget trackers.
• Strong quantitative skills with a proven capability to collate and analyze extensive data accurately.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions and SQL querying.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of data science and statistical modeling is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally within organizations.
