Senior Manager - External Audit

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced external audit professional to join a growing international consulting firm's audit team based in Melbourne. This leadership position demands managing audits for various clients from initial planning to completion, alongside mentoring junior team members and cultivating client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee external audits for a diverse client base, ensuring completion from planning stages to final reports.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior audit staff to enhance team performance.
• Identify and pursue avenues for business expansion within existing and extended professional networks.
• Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) certification is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Business.
• Demonstrated experience in Australian external audit environments, a mandatory prerequisite.
• Legal eligibility to work in Australia is required.
