Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Manager for Corporate Communications to oversee daily operations of the communications function. This role demands someone who excels beyond basic communication skills — a disciplined operator capable of managing people, projects, timelines, events, reporting, and cross-functional delivery with speed, structure, and exceptional standards. This is an active execution position requiring strong leadership, prioritization, and the ability to advance work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of Corporate Communications by implementing structured processes, disciplined planning, and consistent follow-through.
- Translate leadership directives into clear plans that define priorities, schedules, responsible parties, and expected outputs.
- Develop and maintain tools such as trackers, dashboards, calendars, working documents, and status updates to ensure transparent monitoring of task progress.
- Establish a regular operating rhythm through ongoing follow-ups, progress reviews, reports, and clear accountability frameworks.
- Enhance workflows, templates, coordination mechanisms, and reporting standards to accelerate execution speed and clarity.
- Utilize Excel and reporting tools to support decision-making, manage initiative tracking, and ensure steady movement towards completion.
- Lead communication projects from inception through execution, wrap-up, and issue management.
- Create actionable project plans reflecting key milestones, dependencies, risks, deadlines, and ownership roles.
- Simultaneously manage multiple workstreams with detailed oversight to maintain momentum and quality.
- Identify and address delays, blockages, or execution deficiencies promptly to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain effective collaboration with internal departments, external partners, agencies, and vendors through diligent follow-up, problem-solving, and escalation as necessary.
- Adopt a project management office mindset to instill order, clear ownership, visibility, and consistency across initiatives.
- Supervise and coordinate team members' efforts, set clear expectations, enforce tight quality checks, and encourage high standards of ownership, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Coach team members to improve their planning, writing, judgment, and reliability skills.
- Plan and execute events, executive engagements, workshops, product launches, forums, and ceremonies, including managing timelines, logistics, vendors, production, branding, approvals, guest coordination, and onsite delivery.
- Facilitate public relations and media activities through content review and coordination efforts.
- Ensure flawless execution even under last-minute changes and high-pressure situations through disciplined follow-up and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience across growth, performance, operations, corporate communications, public relations, communications operations, project management, events, or related areas.
- At least 3 to 5 years in managerial or senior supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Extensive experience managing projects end-to-end and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong practical skills in planning and executing communications initiatives.
- Proven excellence in team leadership and people management.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating trackers, dashboards, reports, planning sheets, and follow-up tools.
- Effective presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and sustain rapid progress with high quality and organization.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
