Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Compensation serves as a strategic advisor and consultant partnering closely with People Experience (PE) professionals and business leaders globally. This role supports the design, communication, and implementation of competitive global compensation programs that attract, engage, reward, and retain top talent at EA. The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring the incumbent to work onsite in our Vancouver, BC office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the principal advisor for designated business units spanning multiple global locations.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with PE partners, business leaders, and team members, educating stakeholders on compensation policies and programs.
- Provide innovative compensation solutions that align with EA’s strategic objectives, culture, and compensation philosophy.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to craft competitive offers and ensure consistent application of compensation guidelines.
- Lead or assist in managing critical compensation cycles such as annual Merit, Bonus, and Equity processes via Focal.
- Contribute to projects enhancing compensation or comprehensive global total rewards initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Over 7 years of experience in compensation, preferably in roles involving client consultation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executives, managers, and peers.
- Extensive expertise in creating and administering various compensation programs including salary structures, bonus schemes, and long-term incentives.
- Experienced in presenting compensation concepts to People Experience partners and managers.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, including complex functions, data modeling, and analytics.
Compensation and Benefits
In British Columbia, the salary for this position ranges from CAD 133,500 to CAD 186,400, depending on specific location and other factors.
EA offers comprehensive benefits including three weeks of annual vacation, ten days of sick leave per year, paid parental leave top-ups (up to 100% of base salary for up to 12 weeks maternity and 4 weeks parental/adoption), extended health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and retirement plans. Selected roles may also qualify for bonuses and additional incentives.
