Position Overview

Our client, a reputable and expanding advisory company, seeks a seasoned Senior Manager to strengthen their Financial Reporting & Advisory division. This prominent leadership role is ideal for a determined professional who merges advanced technical proficiency with robust commercial insight and enthusiasm for nurturing client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a portfolio of intricate financial reporting and accounting consulting projects, ensuring outstanding client satisfaction and timely project completion.
• Deliver authoritative technical guidance on IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP to assist clients with complicated accounting and reporting challenges.
• Offer advisory expertise on various transactions and corporate actions including acquisitions, group reorganizations, mergers, consolidations, impairment assessments, lease accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Manage engagement planning, resource allocation, quality control, and financial outcomes comprehensively.
• Forge enduring relationships with senior finance leaders, serving as a trusted consultant on both technical and business issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and other team members, cultivating a cooperative, high-achieving atmosphere.
• Contribute to business growth by recognizing new opportunities, preparing proposals, conducting client presentations, and reinforcing existing client bonds.
• Collaborate extensively with peers across diverse service areas and international teams to deliver holistic client solutions.
• Champion rigorous governance, risk control, and compliance standards throughout all projects.
• Encourage innovation, ongoing enhancement, and best practices within the advisory team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified accountant holding credentials such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or their equivalents.
• At least six years of post-qualification experience in audit, financial reporting, or accounting advisory roles.
• Prior exposure to a top-tier accountancy practice or advisory firm is highly valued.
• Strong command of IFRS and/or US GAAP standards with practical application in a commercial context.
• Proven track record in steering major client engagements and leading dynamic teams.
• Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients and key stakeholders.
• Keen commercial sense with demonstrated skills in identifying value-add opportunities and expanding client portfolios.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities to effectively manage concurrent priorities.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar financial reporting software considered beneficial.
• Exceptional detail orientation and dedication to delivering superior quality outcomes.
