Overview
As a Senior Specialist in the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), you will lead the management and coordination of maintenance operations for an organization's fleet—be it vehicles, aircraft, or other equipment. Your role is critical in ensuring maintenance tasks are planned and executed effectively to reduce downtime and maximize operational performance.
Primary Duties
- Coordinate maintenance teams to establish schedules and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Oversee ongoing maintenance to ensure adherence to safety rules and quality benchmarks.
- Examine maintenance data to detect trends and identify areas for operational enhancements.
- Design, develop, and implement maintenance protocols and industry best practices.
- Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders, providing timely updates on maintenance progression.
- Investigate maintenance problems and propose preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven track record in maintenance control center operations.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform efficiently under pressure.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operational standards.
- Experience working with maintenance management software to monitor and control maintenance schedules.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving maintenance issues to deliver effective solutions promptly.
- Advanced communication skills to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Able to perform decisively in fast-paced, high-pressure contexts.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring strict compliance with aviation regulations.
- Leadership abilities for mentoring and guiding team members.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory frameworks and industry maintenance standards.
