Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Machine Operator position located at the Lidcombe, NSW facility. The role involves maintaining production rates exceeding 300 jars per minute to exacting standards, promptly reporting machinery concerns, collaborating closely with production staff to achieve output goals, and ensuring workplace cleanliness and orderliness.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Operate and monitor high-volume production machinery effectively to maintain efficient output.
• Perform quality control checks consistent with product standards and adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Use hand tools competently for machine setup, minor maintenance, and adjustments.
• Communicate clearly to follow instructions, document processes accurately, and work in cooperation with supervisors and team members.
• Apply prior experience in food or manufacturing settings, with understanding of Work Health and Safety practices.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, stand for long durations, and adapt to fast-paced production environments.
• Utilize strong numeracy and literacy skills for interpreting work orders, measuring ingredients, and documenting production data.
• Possession of relevant vocational training or certifications related to manufacturing or process operations is advantageous.
