Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire machine learning lifecycle from exploratory data analysis, problem definition, prototyping to deploying and maintaining models in production.
• Create, implement, and optimize machine learning models that drive core business and product insights.
• Develop and maintain training, retraining, and evaluation processes using tools like MLflow for experiment tracking and model versioning.
• Monitor model accuracy, data reliability, and detect drift with proactive interventions.
• Produce clean, maintainable Python code and leverage CI/CD pipelines on AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to develop efficient data pipelines and handle SQL-based feature engineering tasks.
• Elevate engineering standards through thorough code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring peers including engineers and data scientists.

Required Qualifications

• Over five years of practical experience in Python programming, demonstrating solid engineering practices such as testing, code reviewing, continuous integration, Git workflow, and working with AWS and SQL.
• At least three years of hands-on experience using data science and machine learning frameworks and libraries including PyTorch, MLflow, NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Proven expertise in developing, deploying, and maintaining ML models beyond experimental environments.
• Comfortable leading the comprehensive ML development process including exploratory data analysis, prototyping, production deployment, and operational pipeline management.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing model precision with timely delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Building recommender system technologies.
• Experience in the advertisement technology sector.
• Development of deep neural network models.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
