Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (Generative AI & MLOps)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist with extensive expertise in designing, building, and deploying advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions, particularly focusing on Generative AI and MLOps frameworks. The position is remote and open to candidates based in India, with an emphasis on immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy comprehensive machine learning and data science solutions in production environments.
• Create, monitor, and refine scalable ML pipelines aligned with MLOps best practices.
• Orchestrate machine learning workflows leveraging Kubeflow and automate corresponding processes.
• Develop applications powered by Large Language Models, including Claude AI, focusing on generative AI use cases.
• Build intelligent assistants, automation agents, and enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, clients, and tool integrations to enhance AI applications.
• Construct reusable AI skills to facilitate intelligent task automation.
• Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation methods such as embeddings and semantic search within workflows.
• Integrate AI/ML models with RESTful APIs, databases, and external enterprise systems.
• Conduct model evaluation, optimization, rigorous testing, and lifecycle management.
• Deploy AI systems across cloud platforms using container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes alongside CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients to translate business needs into deployable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support engineering best practices and standards.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming and related ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and feature engineering.
• Solid experience creating reproducible ML pipelines using Kubeflow and applying MLOps methodologies including deployment, versioning, and monitoring.
• Practical experience developing Large Language Model applications, specifically using Claude AI, with strong understanding of prompt engineering and context management.
• Familiarity with AI automation architectures, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and AI skill development.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation.
• Proficient in REST API development, database management (SQL/NoSQL), software engineering principles, and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Expertise

• Hands-on knowledge of vector databases like Pinecone or FAISS, and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures and AI system observability and security measures.
• Ability to engineer AI agents for multi-step workflows and enterprise integration.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in machine learning, data science, or AI engineering roles.
• Strong communicator with prior client-facing and mentoring responsibilities.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Immediate joining candidates or those available on short notice are highly preferred.

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (India-based candidates)
• Salary Range: INR 18,00,000 to 22,50,000 per annum
• Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
