Senior Lifeguard

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Lifeguard to join a reputable and active leisure centre located in Epping, England. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced lifeguards who are passionate about team leadership, upholding stringent safety protocols, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the lifeguard team daily to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct thorough and routine pool safety inspections to maintain high safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Duty Manager to support centre operations.
• Act decisively and confidently during emergencies and other incidents.
• Deliver exceptional customer care to all centre users.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, secure, and welcoming environment within the leisure centre.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Proven background in lifeguarding roles, preferably including supervisory or senior experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Dependable and proactive work ethic.
• Willingness and availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
