Job Overview

This opportunity is offered on behalf of a client company seeking a Senior Learning Designer based in the United States. The role involves designing compelling and effective learning experiences that empower organizations to solve complex challenges through cutting-edge educational programs. It blends instructional design skills, storytelling, collaboration with clients, and the use of innovative technology to deliver impactful learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with clients to conduct discovery meetings, assess learning needs, and translate those into customized education plans.
  • Develop learner-focused educational content such as e-learning modules, offline resources, coaching guides, job aids, and curated materials.
  • Employ adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies to create accessible and strong training programs.
  • Work alongside subject matter experts, content creators, product and project teams, and customer success staff to produce premium learning solutions.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art AI-powered design and content creation tools to enhance storytelling and learning effectiveness.
  • Adapt rapidly to proprietary authoring software, content management platforms, and internal procedures while upholding design quality.
  • Manage multiple concurrent learning projects by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and aligning stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors when necessary to support content creation and instructional delivery.
  • Implement measurement strategies and utilize learning analytics to gauge training effectiveness and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Continuously investigate emerging learning technologies, innovative design practices, and creative methods to increase learner engagement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Substantial experience in instructional design, curriculum planning, learning experience design, or related fields.
  • Proven capability to develop engaging educational resources, structured learning goals, curricula, and performance support materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement, active listening, rapport building, and consultation.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative storytelling, strategic instructional design expertise, and innovative contributions.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, content development tools, and modern productivity software.
  • Prior use of AI-enhanced design tools and creative technologies is advantageous.
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies, proprietary systems, and evolving workflows.
  • Exceptional organizational skills capable of handling multiple projects and tight schedules efficiently.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach suited for a dynamic, fast-moving work environment.
  • Experience within corporate learning, ethics, compliance, regulatory instruction, or business education is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, change management approaches, or additional instructional design tools is favorable.
  • Preferably holds a degree in instructional design, educational technology, educational psychology, or a related discipline.
