Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Java Cloud Developer skilled in Java programming and Microsoft Azure to join their Bengaluru team. This role involves the end-to-end development and maintenance of scalable cloud applications leveraging contemporary Java frameworks and Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud applications utilizing Java and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop microservices-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate and automate deployments via Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement RESTful APIs and manage web services interfaces.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Ensure applications meet rigorous cloud security, scalability, monitoring, and deployment standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues.
• Communicate effectively within the team and across departments.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
