Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer, proficient in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture, to join our team in Dubai. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust Java applications that deliver high performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate with diverse teams to analyze user needs and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable Java applications with high quality standards.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and deliver new functionalities.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards.
- Create and run integration tests to maintain code quality.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure applications are optimized.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers as needed.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proven expertise in Java programming (version 8 or later).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework components including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services development.
- Familiarity with ORM technologies like Hibernate or JPA.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture is advantageous.
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Education and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required; preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree and relevant professional certifications.
