Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Create and support enterprise-grade applications employing technologies such as React, Spring Boot, Android, and PostgreSQL.
• Deliver robust software solutions adhering to industry best practices, ensuring high code quality, and implementing security by design principles.
• Lead the modernization efforts of warehouse management systems transitioning from legacy Vaadin/Jakarta EE frameworks to contemporary React and Spring Boot architectures.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices to support web, mobile, and integration platforms.
• Write scalable, secure, and maintainable software applying modern engineering standards.
• Engage in cloud-native development and deployment using Azure, AWS cloud platforms, and containerization technologies.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and adhere to DevSecOps methodologies to automate software delivery processes.
• Identify and resolve issues in existing applications to enhance performance, stability, and end-user satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with DSV's standards and objectives.
• Participate actively in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to ongoing process enhancements within the development team.
• Support application maintenance, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to guarantee reliable warehouse management operations.
• Drive technical transformation initiatives towards the next generation of Warehouse Management applications and platforms.
• Coordinate information flow and activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, labor laws, remuneration regulations, and intellectual property protections.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of professional IT experience in developing scalable enterprise web applications.
• Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and warehousing domains is advantageous.
• Proficient hands-on experience with modern full-stack development technologies.
• Deep expertise in React, Spring Boot, Java, and PostgreSQL technologies.
• Proven ability to develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Understanding of legacy frameworks like Vaadin and Jakarta EE is considered a plus.
• Experience using AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Competence in DevOps tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift is beneficial.
• Awareness of OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices.
• Experience effectively collaborating with distributed, remote teams.
