Position Overview
JASARA Program Management Company is looking for a seasoned Senior IT Business Analyst to spearhead the assessment and documentation of intricate business workflows. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to devise IT solutions that align with strategic goals. The analyst will offer expert guidance across the project lifecycle to ensure synergy between business demands and technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sessions to gather and analyze requirements with business stakeholders to identify needs and objectives
- Convert complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and design documentation
- Perform impact, gap, and feasibility analyses supporting informed decision-making
- Work alongside IT teams, project managers, and vendors to guarantee effective IT solution delivery
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation such as process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories
- Bridge communication between technical teams and business units ensuring mutual understanding and issue resolution
- Assist testing phases by crafting test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing activities
- Provide mentorship to junior analysts and advocate for best practices in business analysis
- Keep current with new technologies and industry trends to propose innovative enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience conducting business analysis in IT contexts
- Demonstrated capability to handle complex requirements gathering and project documentation
- In-depth understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Outstanding skills in communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with SDLC and agile project methodologies
- Proficient in business analysis and project management software such as JIRA and Confluence
- Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar are strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
