Role Summary

The Senior IT Applications Analyst is pivotal in the implementation and ongoing management of essential IT business applications. This role collaborates across teams to gather requirements, configure and upgrade systems, and deliver expert support to ensure secure, effective application performance aligned with client demands.

Key Duties

  • Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, identify enhancements, and apply approved system modifications.
  • Function as the primary technical expert and point of contact for designated applications and related initiatives.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation such as design specs, configuration plans, test procedures, and system overviews.
  • Create and refine reports and dashboards to fulfill operational and regulatory needs.
  • Manage the IT applications change-control process, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with validation and quality assurance teams to facilitate thorough testing and SDLC adherence.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff, offer training on applications, and promote best practices throughout IT.
  • Oversee application security including access management, audits, and integrity assessments.
  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting and technical support at application and server levels.
  • Assign and prioritize daily tasks within the IT team to resolve application issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records related to training and internal compliance procedures.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts and accept additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ practical experience in supporting or deploying enterprise IT applications.
  • Project management capabilities, with certifications considered advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of SDLC methods, IT change management, and system validation standards.
  • Strong skills in analysis, organization, and communication, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively.

Additional Requirements

  • Availability to dedicate at least 40 hours per week with adaptability for project demands.
  • Willingness to undertake travel to client locations as necessary.
  • Eligibility to work in the European Union without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
