Senior iOS Mobile App Developer

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned iOS Mobile App Developer to architect, build, and release robust native iOS applications serving a broad user base. This hands-on senior role involves end-to-end feature development, shaping mobile architecture, enhancing app efficiency and stability, and promoting best engineering practices within the mobile team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.
• Handle complete lifecycle of features from design, coding, testing to release and support.
• Refine and expand iOS app architecture, design paradigms, and shared components.
• Produce clear, scalable, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and contemporary software engineering standards.
• Deliver responsive, high-performance mobile experiences emphasizing usability and dependability.
• Integrate with backend services including RESTful and GraphQL APIs and third-party platforms.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and safeguard data according to mobile security best practices.
• Work with asynchronous processing, concurrency models, and background tasks.
• Investigate and fix complex app crashes, memory leaks, performance issues, and production bugs.
• Implement features like local storage, caching, offline mode, and data syncing where needed.
• Develop comprehensive unit and UI tests and contribute to mobile testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers technically.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, backend engineers, and architects.
• Support continuous integration/delivery pipelines and automate mobile release workflows.
• Manage app deployments through App Store Connect and TestFlight.
• Monitor live applications using platforms such as Crashlytics, Firebase, or similar observability tools.
• Guide junior and intermediate developers, elevating team engineering quality.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 5 years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
• Advanced expertise with Swift programming language.
• Strong practical knowledge of SwiftUI and UIKit frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of iOS SDK and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with modern architecture patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coordinator, and modular design.
• Proficient with Swift Concurrency, async/await, GCD, and multithreading concepts.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, working with JSON, and networking libraries.
• Knowledgeable in local data persistence technologies such as Core Data or Realm.
• Good grasp of memory management and performance tuning on iOS.
• Experience writing tests using XCTest, XCUITest, or similar tools.
• Competent in Git workflows and modern branching/code review practices.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tailored for mobile apps.
• Hands-on with App Store submission processes including certificates, provisioning, and TestFlight.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills using Xcode Instruments and related utilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Combine framework.
• Knowledge of Objective-C language.
• Familiarity with Firebase and Crashlytics services.
• Experience managing push notifications and deep linking.
• Building offline-first applications with data synchronization.
• Mobile security implementations, biometric authentication, and secure storage such as Keychain.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with modular or multi-module iOS app architectures.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools.
• Background in sectors with high security demands such as banking, finance, or healthcare.
