About IDEXX Veterinary Software

A key focus is the SmartFlow product, a digital alternative to traditional hospital workflows used mainly by enterprise customers in the US, offering features like a digital whiteboard, dynamic hospital records, and billing capabilities.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our skilled squad. You will engineer advanced iOS (iPad) applications primarily with Swift and Objective-C, guiding the development lifecycle from concept to deployment. Your efforts will enhance the functionality, performance, and reliability of SmartFlow, helping us move into a new phase of feature development on a robust foundation recently upgraded on the backend.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C for iPad devices.
- Lead comprehensive development phases ensuring intuitive UX and high performance.
- Maintain application responsiveness, quality, and identify and resolve bugs and crashes promptly.
- Integrate backend APIs and cloud services effectively.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers, including performing code reviews.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial experience as a Senior iOS Developer with proven leadership skills.
- Skilled in Objective-C and Swift, including migrating codebases from Objective-C to Swift.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and software design principles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working in a large-scale SaaS environment is a strong advantage.
