Key Responsibilities

• Oversee interior design projects from initial concept through to final completion, ensuring coherent project delivery.
• Create innovative concepts, develop presentations, mood boards, select materials, and prepare design proposals.
• Draft, review, and manage detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors throughout project phases.
• Perform site surveys and inspections; address and resolve any on-site design or technical challenges.
• Assess materials, samples, quotations, and costings to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, effectively managing resources to meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Mentor junior designers by sharing design and technical expertise, fostering professional growth.
• Uphold Kristina Zanic Consultants’ standards of design excellence, professionalism, client service, and company values.
• Demonstrate leadership by example, ensuring the team delivers consistent, high-quality service aligned with company standards and values.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess over 10 years of comprehensive interior design experience.
• Around 8 years working in a Senior Interior Designer capacity.
• At least 5 years of experience working within the region.
• Hands-on site experience with a strong understanding of site coordination and project execution.
• Demonstrated expertise in various project types including hospitality, residential, retail, workplace, and leisure sectors.
• High proficiency in design, technical documentation, and project coordination.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, specifications, budgeting processes, and supplier management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and support project teams and junior designers.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities when working with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Competent in using relevant design software and CAD tools.
